With 35+ Years of experience in application development with thermoplastics like Polypropylene (PP), Polypropylene compounds, Thermoplastic Olefins (TPO's), Styrenics blends (ABS, ABS/PC..) and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE's, TPV's),  my expertises do exist out of e.g. choosing the right thermoplastic materials, material validation, project management, trouble shooting, thermoplastic processing, design optimisations, in short all disciplines related to the application of thermoplastics.

As a Senior Application Development Specialist at DSM and the Teknor Apex TPE Division, I bring over three decades of experience in Material and Application Development to the table. With Bachelor Degrees in Chemical & Process Engineering at the “Hogeschool van Amsterdam” and Polymer Engineering at the “Hogeschool van Utrecht”, I have honed my skills in optimising polymer/compound processing and part design for optimal part performance. Over the years, I have successfully led and delivered projects for different market segments like E&E, Appliances, Industrial, Building & Construction and Automotive. My recent focus lies in thermoset rubber replacement for Industrial and Automotive applications, resulting in several successful projects. As a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills, I am adept at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am also willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
